Founded in 2015 by Arieta Tegeilolo Talanoa Tora Rika, Talanoa is a digital storytelling platform for Oceanic voices.
A place where you can find authentic Oceanic voices sharing real stories and experiences in the hope of inspiring, encouraging, and informing people in our communities and in our world.
TRANSCENDING BORDERS
Talanoa has been highlighting the stories of Oceania for over a decade, collaborating with organisations like the World Bank, S1T2, The Genda Project and Sydney Opera House to uplift the stories of Pacific peoples.
In 2024, we paused Talanoa to take time to strategise and design a platform that is responsive to the rapidly changing landscape of Pacific media and storytelling.
